Black oxidation treatment of stainless steel rope mesh

In order to improve the anti-rust ability of steel parts, the surface of steel parts is oxidized into  smooth ferric oxide with strong oxidant. This thin layer of ferric oxide effectively protects the inside of the steel from oxidation. At high temperature (about 550℃) oxidized ferric oxide is sky blue, so it is called blue processing. Ferric oxide formed at low temperature (about 350℃) is dark, so it is called blackening treatment.

The strong oxidant is composed of sodium hydroxide, sodium nitrite and trisodium phosphate. Blue processing with the molten solution to treat the steel; When blackened, the steel is treated with aqueous solution.
