Before the steel mesh operation, we must fully consider the preparation work, and then we will explain in detail the factors that need to be considered when designing the steel mesh operation.

1. Down pressure gauge

a. Lower the pressure gauge to the specified operating depth.

b. If the tool nipple is at _L of the planned swabbing depth, special precautions should be taken into consideration in inclined and curved wells.

2. Depth of wax deposition

a. If possible, lower the flow control device below the waxing point.

b. Before the flow control device is set or lifted out, the wax may block the flow control device, so the wax should be removed.

3. The penetration depth of the bottom hole pressure instrument

a. Before the equipment and tools are installed, the fake steel wire mesh should be tried.

b. The operator may not intend to set up the flow control equipment to measure the bottom hole pressure.

c. If the instrument falls into the well, the control device in the short section of the tool can prevent the instrument from coming out and entering the casing.

4. Annular liquid weight

a. If the tubing is blocked and the tubing pressure leaks to zero, the pressure difference may destroy some parts of the tubing string.

b. Changes in pressure conditions should be estimated.

5. Temperature

a. The flow control equipment should be placed deep enough to avoid freezing caused by passing the bottom hole nozzle or regulator.,

6. Curved tubing or inclined well

a. Steel mesh repair tools are often affected by inclined wells or severely bent tubing strings. If these influencing factors can be predicted, the tool puppet should be installed on the tubing at a higher position than usual, so that it can be properly and safely treated. Carry out repairs.

b. In highly inclined shallow wells or slightly inclined deep wells, friction will be significantly generated. Special lubricants can solve some friction problems. The total effect of friction will greatly limit the shock effect of steel mesh tools.

c. In a highly inclined well, be very careful when running the next tubing. An elastic assembly should be used to ensure that the tool is flexible enough to release the casing and return to the tubing.
